Difference between Perspective, Isometric, Oblique and Orthographic Drawing

perspective drawing is to project world like in real life, for example, if you are standing closer to a house, it is bigger, but if you stand far away, it will seem smaller and the things closer to you will seem bigger.

isometric drawing is to draw something that is 3-Dimensional such as cubes of blocks. It is not the same as perspective as for perspective it will seem smaller the further away it is unlike the isometrical drawings which is a bit mathematical.

Oblique drawing can produce 2-Dimensional images of 3-Dimensional objects. It projects an image by intersecting parallel rays, for a tunnel.

Orthographic drawing is a drawing which has a view of only one side of an object, either top, side, front or back.

ADMT Lesson 1: Personal Reflection

ADMT, art, design, media and technology. i feel that art is to make it have a good appearance so that it can attract customers, as we would not buy products that don't look good. Design is to make sure it works as if it looks very nice, but there isn't any on switch, we wouldn't be able to operate it. media helps with communication and can advertise the product. Technology brings everything together.

i think that an ADMT student should be innovative, observant and attentive.

my aspiration is to think up ideas that are reasonable and have a good function like helping elderly people move about more easily.

to achieve my aspiration, i must try my best and understand what it feels like in the user's shoes.

i sketched my picture as i think there shouldnt be any life at all, as without design we can't really make anything and we would not survive. so there is just nature.
